Welcome Aboard! Fly in from home cities to the Toronto
International Airport. A complimentary airport transfer
voucher is included in your tour documents. Enjoy a full
service hotel, as the rest of the day is free to do as
you wish. This evening, meet & join your tour
director and fellow passengers for a Welcome Get Acquainted
Dinner.

Toronto to Niagara Falls,

Welcome Aboard our motorcoach! Of course it is air-conditioned
and washroom equipped for our comfort and enjoyment. This
morning we are treated to a locally guided city tour of
Toronto, including such highlights as the City Hall, the
banking district, the University of Toronto and Casa Loma.
After lunch, we proceed along the Queen Elizabeth Highway
to the charming village of Niagara-on-the-Lake. We stop
here for an afternoon break before heading along gorgeous
Niagara Parkway to Niagara Falls. We then enjoy a thrilling
excursion aboard the “Maid of the Mist” for
an incredible sight of the enormous falls. Later on we
visit the “Brock Monument”, the “Floral
Clock” and “Whirlpool Rapids” for pictures.
Niagara Falls, the “Honeymoon Capital of the World,”
is our home for the night.

Niagara Falls to Lancaster,

Today, we cross the border at the Rainbow Bridge and continue
through the states of New York and Pennsylvania. As we
follow the Susquehanna River Valley, enjoy the natural
brilliance and the scenic drive through the Allegheny
Mountains. Our leisurely drive brings us to the religious
Amish and Mennonite communities of Lancaster for our overnight
stay. Tonight enjoy a traditional Amish Feast.

Lancaster to Washington,

This morning, we visit an Amish farm and house to see
and hear about the heritage and culture of the Plain People.
Later we travel to historic Gettysburg for a tour of Gettysburg
National Military Park. We continue through the rolling
hills of Pennsylvania to the famous city of Washington
for two nights.
Today, we explore the United States Capital with a professional
local guide during a full day city tour. Our tour of Washington
includes the Supreme Court, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln
Memorial, Arlington Cemetery, the Smithsonian Institute,
the Whitehouse and much more. Late afternoon and evening
is free to explore the city on your own.

Washington, DC to New York,

We travel the J.F.K Memorial Highway to historic Philadelphia,
this morning. After lunch, we meet our local guide for
a brief city tour of Philadelphia, which includes the
Liberty Bell, exterior of Independence Hall, Library Walk,
First & Second Bank, Carpenter’s Hall and Franklin
Court. Afterwards we journey on I-95 through Trenton to
New York, the “Big Apple”, for a two night
stay.
This morning, we take a locally guided city tour of Manhattan,
including Central Park, Times Square, Chinatown and much
more. We end the tour in front of New York’s famous
Empire State Building, a National Historic Landmark. We
visit the observatory located on the 86th floor, 320 metres
(1050 feet) above the city’s bustling streets. We
then take time for a scattered lunch and perhaps you can
enjoy one of the city’s famous deli sandwiches.
Later, we take a most relaxing and scenic circle boat
tour at Pier 83. We return to our hotel by late afternoon
to enjoy a free evening at your leisure. Those passengers
interested in a Broadway show must make arrangements well
in advance through your tour booking agent.

New York to Hyannis, MA |

We bid farewell to the “Big Apple” as our
beautiful New England drive provides breathtaking views
as we travel to Newport, Rhode Island to see “The
Breakers”, the most elaborate 70 room Italian Palazzo.
Newport is a charming town and still retains the charm
of its Colonial heritage. Our further drive towards the
Cape Cod peninsula brings us to Hyannis, Massachusetts
for the overnight stay.

Cape Cod & Plymouth Sightseeing
& Boston, MA |

A full day of spectacular sightseeing! This morning, we
enjoy a scenic drive on Cape Cod National Seashore. Later
on, we visit Plymouth, where on December 21, 1620, one
hundred and two men, women and children arrived on the
Mayflower and established the first permanent American
settlement north of Virginia. We also visit the Plymouth
Plantation, where costumed interpreters portray the early
17th century lifestyle when the pilgrims first settled
in Plymouth. Later on, we stop at Plymouth Rock for a
picture stop before heading down to Boston, MA for a two
night stay.

The Freedom Trail & Boston |

This morning’s locally guided city tour of Boston
includes the famous Freedom Trail, the Boston Common,
Old North Church, the US Constitution, Paul Revere’s
Statue, Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. After our scattered
lunch, we see Boston from the water on a Harbour Cruise.
The rest of the day is at your leisure. This evening we
enjoy a traditional Lobster Dinner to put the icing on
the cake! We take this opportunity to say a fond farewell
to the 11 Day Tour passengers as they complete their tour
and return home tomorrow.

Boston to Saint John, NB |

All good things must come to an end! Today we say goodbye to our new found friends and fellow passengers as we carry our fond memories with us when we return home. Our journey continues as we head north through picturesque
Maine, New England, as our further drive brings us to
the Canada/US border where we enter into the beautiful
province of New Brunswick. Upon arrival to Canada’s
Loyalist City, Saint John, New Brunswick, we enjoy a brief
city tour. We see such sights as the Reversing Falls,
Saint John Harbour, Market Square, and more. This evening
is at your leisure.

Saint John to Charlottetown,

We leave Saint John this morning and travel along the
spectacular Bay of Fundy to the incredible Hopewell Cape.
We have the opportunity to take beautiful pictures while
walking on the ocean floor at low tide! (Subject to tide
condition). Enjoy your lunch in the picturesque surroundings
of Hopewell Cape! Our further scenic journey brings us
to Moncton, NB, where we visit the mysterious “Magnetic
Hill”. Continuing on, we travel towards Garden Province,
PEI crossing the 13 km Confederation Bridge, where we
take time for pictures. We complete our day in Summerside/Charlottetown,
where we stay for the next two nights.

Prepare for a full day of adventure, sightseeing and fun
as we are treated to a locally guided deluxe tour of the
Charlottetown and Summerside areas. We tour the Province
House, churches, Victorian homes, the Confederation Centre
and more. After lunch, we stop at the Prince Edward Island
Preserve Company on our way to Anne of Green Gables Home
and the sand dunes at Cavendish Beach.

Charlottetown to Sydney,

Today, we bid farewell to PEI and travel to Nova Scotia.
We travel east, across the Canso Causeway to Cape Breton
Island. This island of hardy Scots, its original settlers,
is also rich in French Heritage. This afternoon we explore
the Alexander Graham Bell Museum in Baddeck. Our further
journey continues on for an early arrival at our hotel
in Sydney.
This morning, we get started for our adventure
on Cabot Trail, named after the famous explorer who first
sighted the island in 1497. Watch as we pass the meandering
glens, rugged coastlines, white gypsum bluffs and the
always-pounding surf. We make some photo stops enroute
to make this a very special day, indeed. Enjoy the most
relaxing and scenic adventure of the tour. We retire for
the night back in Sydney. Enjoy your leisure time using
the quality hotel facilities and/or the nearby full service
casino.

Sydney to Halifax, NS |

Our drive today brings us to the Fortress of
Louisbourg to relive history as we take a tour of the
famous 18th century Fortress! It is beautifully restored
with inhabitants dressed in period costume, and it stands
today as it was 200 years ago! After having ample time
to explore the great Fortress of Louisbourg, we continue
our drive to Halifax, where we spend the next two nights.
This morning we are treated to a locally guided
deluxe tour of the naval city of Halifax including Citadel
National Historic Site, Titanic victims burial site, the
story of Pier 21 and more. We enjoy free time at the Citadel
Hill after the tour. We enjoy a scattered lunch at the
Halifax Historic Properties. Later on our drive takes
us to the rustic charm of the famous fishing village of
Peggy’s Cove. A scenic journey brings us back to
Halifax for the night. This evening, join your
tour director and fellow passengers as we are treated
to a Pacific Gold Farewell Dinner.
All good things must come to an end! We take
with us memories of a wonderful ‘Washington, New
York & Maritimes tour as we travel to the airport
for our return flight home.
