Welcome Aboard! A warm welcome to Alberta passengers aboard our luxury
coach in Edmonton. Sit back, relax and enjoy the luxury of our modern motorcoach.
Of course, it is air-conditioned and washroom equipped for your comfort and
enjoyment. We pick up fellow passengers in Calgary before our southern journey
brings us to Cranbrook, BC for the night.
Vancouver and Vancouver Island passengers enjoy mid-morning pick-up
service from various location throughout the Lower Mainland. Relax during our
spectacular journey through the Fraser Valley
over the Coquihalla and Connector Highways
bring us to Kelowna for the overnight stay.

the Canada/US border today and arriving to
Spokane, our home for the night.

Our travels today take us to Hell's Canyon
National Recreation Area. Just north of here,
we stop at the visitor's center of the Nez Perce
National Historic Park in Spalding. If time
and weather permit, we will visit some of the
sites closest to the park gates. We continue
to travel through the towering forest of the
Potato State of Idaho to our destination for
tonight, Boise, Idaho.

Travelling today through the "Potato
State" of Idaho we stop at
Malad Gorge State Park to view
the 250-foot deep chasm where
the Emerald Pool Waterfall plunges
into the Devil's Washbowl. Time
permitting, we also have a guided
tour and wine tasting at Camela
Vineyards, near Glen's Ferry. We
continue on through Jackpot, Nevada. Though not as famous as Las Vegas, Jackpot
still offers the opportunities for those trying their hands at winning that big "Jackpot!"
We continue on to our destination today, Ely, NV.

We continue south this morning, across the "Sagebrush State" Nevada to the world
famous Las Vegas, the "City That Never Sleeps!". This afternoon, our brief stop at a
couple of casinos on the trip will enhance our day. The city truly glitters with all
of its neon! Our short leisurely drive brings us to the bank of the Colorado
River and town of Laughlin for two nights of fun and excitement.
A free day to spend by the pool, explore first-class casinos. You may
want to try out the water taxis on the beautiful Colorado River.

Today we depart the "Xandu of the Desert" and ride with Lady
Luck to the southern most point of "Arizona's West City", Yuma.
This afternoon, we visit a date farm, the Peanut Patch and the
Sahati Camel Farm. The Camel Farm is the dream of an individual
who has bred his favourite animals and is now home to a variety
of species.

This morning, we drive East through Arizona to Scottsdale, a
desert paradise nestled beneath a mountain playground. Scottsdale
is our home for the next 14 nights. Upon arrival at our condominium,
enjoy a leisurely afternoon to become acquainted with the
hotel facilities and surrounding area. For those who would like to pick up some
groceries, coach and driver will provide transportation to a nearby grocery
store for your convenience.

Metro Phoenix Area Guided Tour |

Enjoy a locally guided extended city tour of the Metro Phoenix area, including
Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe. This
tour will give us a general life style
observation of the "Valley of the Sun".
This extended guided tour starts
at 9:00 AM and concludes at 3:00
PM. The tour highlights include The
Phoenix Civic Plaza, America West
Arena, Bank One Ballpark, Mercado
& Arizona Center, Symphony Hall,
Herberger & Orpheum Theatres, and
other downtown points of interest.
Also included are the financial and historical areas such as the State Capital and
Heritage Square. We tour past the Mormon Temple in Mesa, Mills Avenue in Tempe
and Arizona State University. We enjoy the unique views
of Camelback Mountain as we tour through Paradise
Valley and Scottsdale, traveling past such famous homes
as the Wrigley and Hormel Mansions and Senator Barry
Goldwaters' home, as well as many famous resorts.
For those who are interested, transportation will be
provided to the Unique Organ Stop Pizza Place in Mesa
for an evening supper. (Optional)
Today we take a trip to Tucson. We visit the Senora
Desert Museum, which is one of Arizona's most popular
attractions. Its exhibitions reflect the outdoor world
found in the unique ecology of the Senora desert.
It contains over 300 animals and 1300 plants, all
indigenous to the Senora Desert Region. This afternoon
is spent at another popular attraction - the Old Tucson Studios. The town was
constructed in 1939 for the movie "Arizona". Since then, it has been the location for
over 300 productions. It has a frontier town atmosphere and features a museum,
live gunfights, stunt shows, and a sound studio.
Enjoy a leisurely day to do as you please. For golf enthusiasts, perhaps a round
of golf this morning at one or more than
twenty public and private courses located
within a 5 to 10 mile radius of Scottsdale.
Many are world class and offer spectacular
desert and mountain scenery. Tour
Director can advise you. If golf is not your
thing, simply enjoy a walk, jog, run or suntan
on the beautiful golf course. Relax by
the poolside and take advantage of the
hotel facilities. Ask your tour director or
hotel staff for local activities available.
Today we enjoy a trip to historical Tortilla Flat. On the way we visit Superstition
Mountain and Old Goldfield Mine. Goldfield Mine had its
first strike in 1892 and supported a population of up to 4,000 over
its 5-year peak.

This morning you have the opportunity for that "bargain of a
lifetime!" Join your Tour Director for a leisurely morning at
the Greyhound Park Flea Market. This afternoon it's off to the
exciting dog races where we have a chance to try our luck at
Greyhound Park.

Main Street Arts District |

This morning join your Tour Director for a trip
to the Main Street Arts District in Scottsdale. For
those who would prefer, meet up with some newfound
friends for a round of golf, or take some time
for yourself to rest and relax. In the evening we provide
transportation for those who would like to go to the Rockin'
R Ranch for an old-fashioned Chuck wagon dinner, served cowboy
style, followed by a western show (Optional).
Today we enjoy a trip to Tombstone, Arizona's most
famous mining town and at one time home to over
15,000 residents. Of all its colourful history, Tombstone
is still most famous for the OK Corral shoot-out
with the Earps and for Boothill Cemetery. We also visit
Tombstone Historical Museum, which offers a fascinating
look at the past.

This afternoon we take a shopping trip to the Scottsdale
Fashion Square and the Fifth Avenue area shops,
which include over 150 specialty shops, art galleries and
restaurants. Here you get the chance to spoil yourself
with something exquisite. If shopping isn't your cup of
tea, there are plenty of other attractions in and around the
mall, all in air-conditioned comfort.
Today we do a mid morning visit to the Orange Patch in Mesa
for some fruit picking. This evening, for those who wish, we
provide coach transportation to the Barleen Family Country
Music Dinner Theatre. (Optional)

Today we are treated to an educational tour featuring different
types of farming in Arizona. (Subject to Availability). This
evening, for all those interested, enjoy a trip to Rawhide
Western Village, one of Arizona's premier attractions.
Enjoy dinner at the steakhouse, which features good
food and entertainment. (Optional)
Get ready for another full day excursion to Tucson and
the surrounding area for a guided tour. We visit San
Xavier del Bac mission.

We are treated to a tour of the vineyards and wineries of
Southern Arizona. Take advantage of the opportunity to sample some of the areas
best wines, and pick up a bottle or two to enjoy back at home.
Today is our last day in Scottsdale. Take this last opportunity for a round of golf, some
last minute souvenir shopping, packing your bags and relaxing.

Scottsdale to Flagstaff, AZ |

We bid farewell to the Scottsdale areas as we head north to Sedona. Our
route takes us to the visitor centre
at the Montezuma Castle National
Monument where we spend some
time. Then is the ghost town of Jerome
for a short visit before continuing on
to the artists' community of Sedona.
We then travel to Flagstaff via the
Oak Creek Canyon route with its
weather sculptures rock formation
and dramatic colour-tinted crags.

Flagstaff, AZ to Grand Canyon & Page |

We leave Flagstaff and travel to the majestic splendor of the Grand Canyon, one
of the Seven Wonders of the World. We have ample time to enjoy and explore
the breathtaking scenery of this historic spectacle. The beauty provided by the
lofty, multicoloured walls sculpted over thousands of years by the mighty Colorado
River, and the painted desert
beyond, is unsurpassed. We
stop at the visitor's centre
and have a tour of the south
rim of the canyon. A short
drive through the beautiful
scenery brings us to Page for
the night.

Leaving with memories of the Grand Canyon, we travel through the
scenic landscape to Zion Canyon, where we have another chance
to enjoy some spectacular sights. Zion Canyon is known for its colour

the sky), and harbours some of the deepest and narrowest canyons

Departing the "Great Salt Valley" this morning, we travel through the eastern section
of Idaho, stopping along the way for pictures at Idaho Falls on the Snake River.
We then enter the "Big Sky Country" of Montana and travel onward to Butte for an
overnight stay.

spend the night in Kelowna.
