Relax during our leisurely journey through the Fraser Valley over the Coquihalla and Connector Highways to Kelowna for the overnight stay. Day 3:
Kamloops, Kelowna, Penticton, Osoyoos, to Spokane, WA
This morning, en route our journey, we pick-up many passengers from various communities in North and South Okanagan on board our luxury coach as we travel south to Osoyoos. We make a brief stop at the duty free shop. We go through U.S. customs here at Osoyoos border and enter into the State of Washington. Our further drive brings us to Spokane for the night.

Spokane to Boise, ID
After a delicious breakfast, we travel through the Potato State of Idaho. Idaho is in the Rocky Mountains region of the United States and is a rugged state with snow-capped mountains, whitewater rivers, forests, and plenty of wilderness. Most of the land north of Boise is National or State Forest. Our destination for the night is Boise, Idaho.

We start the day with a hot breakfast at the hotel. A leisurely southern drive brings us to Jackpot, a fittingly named town in the state of Nevada where we spend the night. Explore the full service casino at your leisure.

We travel south this morning, across the “Sagebrush State” of Nevada to world famous Las Vegas, the "City That Never Sleeps!" You can try your luck at a casino or shop at the many stores this glitter paradise has to offer during the two night stay.

Full Day Excursion to the Grand Canyon, AZ
Our leisurely morning drive brings us to the Grand Canyon. No trip to Arizona would be complete without visiting the magnificent Grand Canyon, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. We have ample time to enjoy and explore the breathtaking scenery of this historic spectacle. The beauty provided by the lofty, multicoloured walls sculpted over thousands of years by the mighty Colorado River, is unsurpassed. We return to Las Vegas for the second nights’ stay. Upon arrival to Las Vegas we take a brief tour of the famous Las Vegas Strip.

We say goodbye to the glam and glitter of Las Vegas this morning and take a short drive to enjoy a guided tour of Hoover Dam. Later our leisurely drive brings us to the bank of the Colorado River and town of Laughlin for two nights of fun and excitement. You can spend the day exploring the beautiful Colorado River on the water taxis, relax at the pool side or flirt with Lady Luck at the first-class casinos.

Full day Excursion to Lake Havasu
After a delicious breakfast we drive to Lake Havasu City, the jewel in the Colorado River. Here we visit the famous "London Bridge" for a picture stop followed by a leisurely lunch. We return to Laughlin for the second nights’ stay. Late afternoon is free to do as you wish.

Laughlin to Mesa, Arizona
This morning, our leisurely drive east through the state of Arizona brings us to Mesa. Mesa is our home for the next 14 days. Upon arrival at our condominium, become acquainted with the condominium facilities and surrounding areas. For those who would like to pick up some groceries, coach and driver will provide transportation to a nearby grocery store for your convenience. Relax and unpack in your full-service condominium for the next two weeks.

Metro Phoenix Area Guided Tour
Cityscape PhoenixWe meet after breakfast to enjoy a locally guided extended city tour of the Metro Phoenix area, including Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa and Tempe. This tour will give us a general life style observation of the “Valley of the Sun”. This extended guided tour includes The Phoenix Civic Plaza, America West Arena, Bank One Ballpark, Mercado & Arizona Center, Symphony Hall, Herberger & Orpheum Theatres, and other downtown points of interest. Also included are the financial and historical areas including the State Capitol and Heritage Square. We tour past the Mormon Temple in Mesa, Mills Avenue in Tempe and Arizona State University. We enjoy the unique views of Camelback Mountain as we tour through Paradise Valley and Scottsdale, traveling past such famous homes as the Wrigley and Hormel Mansions and Senator Barry Goldwater’s home, as well as many famous resorts.

Today we take a trip to Tucson. We visit the Sonora Desert Museum, which is one of Arizona’s most popular attractions. Its exhibitions reflect the outdoor world found in the unique ecology of the Sonora desert. It contains over 300 animals and 1300 plants, all indigenous to the Sonora Desert Region. This afternoon is spent at another popular attraction – Old Tucson Studios. The town was constructed in 1939 for the movie “Arizona”. Since then, it has been the location for over 300 productions. It has a frontier town atmosphere and features a museum, live gunfights, stunt shows, and a sound studio.

Scottsdale Main Street Arts District & 5th Avenue Shopping
This morning join your tour director after breakfast for a trip to the Main Street Arts District and Fifth Avenue shopping area in Scottsdale. Here you get the chance to spoil yourself with something exquisite. If shopping isn’t your cup of tea, there are plenty of other attractions in and around the mall, all in air-conditioned comfort. You may opt to enjoy lunch at the mall and then we head back to the condo for a relaxing afternoon. For those who would prefer, meet up with some new found friends for a round of golf, or take some time for yourself to rest and relax.

The Apache Trail, Goldfield Ghost Town & Mines
Goldfield Ghost TownAfter breakfast we follow The Apache Trail, one of the most visited sites of the Phoenix area. We start with a tour of the Superstition Mountain Museum and discover the legacy of Jacob Waltz and his legendary Lost Dutchman Gold Mine. Just a bit up the road we visit Goldfield Ghost Town. Take a walk down Main Street; explore the many shops and historic buildings. Tour the historic Mammoth Gold Mine and visit the Goldfield Museum (subject to timetable). Pan for gold or take a ride on Arizona’s only narrow gauge train. You’ll also get to witness an old west gun fight performed by the famous Goldfield Gunfighters! Spend a fun filled day, rich in Wild West history! Nestled in the heart of the Superstition Mountains, lies spectacular Canyon Lake, home of the Dolly Steamboat. Be mesmerised as you travel up the historic Apache Trail with its unique rock formations and beautiful scenery. The Tonto National Forest provides the most awe-inspiring and sublimely beautiful panorama nature has created. We learn about the legends and lore’s of the mysterious Superstition Mountains and Arizona’s first historic highway, the Apache Trail. Complete your day trip into the Wild West with a stop at Tortilla Flat, a stagecoach turned saloon with saddles for bar stools and walls festooned with currency and business cards from around the world.

Yuma Territorial Prison, Peanut Patch & Camel Farm
Enjoy an early breakfast before our full day excursion to Yuma. The highlight of the day is a visit to the Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park which features a historic prison built in the 1800s, now turned into a museum. Later we also stop at the Peanut Patch and the Sahati Camel Farm.

The Verde Valley & Sedona
We suggest that you bring your camera with you as we pass through some breathtaking scenery today. Enjoy your included hot breakfast before we meet for a historical day trip to the Verde Valley and Sedona including Montezuma’s Castle, the scenic vistas of Red Rock Country and the ghost town of Jerome. You have an opportunity to visit some elegant galleries, shops, and fine restaurants as well.

Mesa Marketplace & Organ Stop Pizza
Enjoy breakfast together with new found friends and then prepare for a day of fun under shaded breezeways, with food, entertainment and some of the most unique southwest creations in the valley, the Mesa Marketplace! In the afternoon, you have free time to relax back at your condo. For those who are interested, transportation will be provided to the unique Organ Stop Pizza in Mesa for an unforgettable dining experience. The mighty Wurlitzer Organ is one of the largest and finest theatre organs in the world today. Its nearly 600 pipes, numerous percussions and countless traps are masterfully presented by a group of world class musicians. Sing along or dance to your favourite songs! (Optional).

Saguaro BlossomToday we do a mid morning visit to the Orange Patch in Mesa for an interesting talk about oranges and a chance to purchase fresh fruit. Later on in the afternoon we are treated to an educational tour featuring different types of farming in Arizona. (Subject to availability) This evening, for those who wish, we provide coach transportation to the Barleen Family Country Music Dinner Theatre. (Optional)

Heritage Square & Mystery Castle
We visit Heritage Square, an eight structure area, all of which was built as part of the original site of Phoenix. The square is home to the Arizona Doll and Toy Museum, holding dolls from as far back as 1770. Later on this afternoon we visit Mystery Castle. Built from native stone and scavenged materials between 1930 and 1945, this 8,000 square foot castle is furnished with Indian antiques and south-western artist decor. This evening, for all those interested, enjoy a trip to Rawhide Western Village, one of Arizona’s premier attractions. Enjoy dinner at the steakhouse, which features good food and entertainment. Tombstone, AZ
Today we enjoy a trip to Tombstone, Arizona’s most famous mining town and at one time home to over 15,000 residents. Of all its colourful history, Tombstone is still most famous for the OK Corral shoot-out with the Earps and also Boothill Cemetery. We also visit Tombstone Historical Museum, which offers a fascinating look at the past. Later on we visit San Xavier del Bac Mission, an operating Catholic church located on an Indian Reservation that was constructed from 1783-1797 by the Franciscans. This beautiful example of Spanish mission architecture is nicknamed the “White Dove of the Desert.”

Mesa, AZ to San Diego, CA
Early rise and shine! We say goodbye to Mesa and leave on a leisurely southwest drive to the city of San Diego. Upon our arrival in San Diego, we enjoy a locally guided city tour of San Diego, giving us a glimpse of the vibrant downtown, Gaslamp Quarter, Coronado Island and it’s beautiful beach. We tour the famous historical Hotel del Coronado crowning the broad, mile-long sandy beach before checking into our own hotel for the night.

San Diego to Solvang, CA
After included breakfast we say goodbye to San Diego! We journey north to the quaint town of Solvang, the Danish capital of America, complete with picturesque buildings and windmills. Explore to your heart’s content as you will have the afternoon for browsing souvenir shops and sampling delicious pastries.

Solvang to Carmel, Monterey and San Francisco, CA
Leaving Solvang, a day of spectacular scenery awaits as we travel the Big Sur coastline known as the "17 Mile Drive" and enjoy miles of magnificent beaches surrounding Monterey and Carmel.Our afternoon’s journey leads us into San Francisco. We’ll spend one night in the heart of this exciting and cosmopolitan city. Join your tour director and driver tonight for an OPTIONAL dinner in North America’s largest Chinatown.
