Do you accept travelers who need special assistance?
Any disability requiring special attention should be reported
to Pacific Gold Tours by yourself or your travel agent before the reservation is made. Pacific Gold Tours will make every
effort to accommodate the special needs of disabled tour participants,
but is not responsible in the event it is unable to do so, nor
is it responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels,
restaurants, or other independent suppliers. A suitable travelling companion must accompany travelers who need such assistance.
Why is it so important that we provide names exactly
as they appear on our passports?
Due to increased travel security around the world, it is now
more important than ever that the passenger's travel information
match the first name, middle name or initial and
last name exactly as it reads on his or her passport. It is
best to provide that information to Pacific Gold Tours at
the time of booking by fax, email or mail to keep on file. Non-Canadian citizens
should consult with appropriate Consulates General to determine the proper travel documents required to enter the country.

How can my family contact me while I am traveling?
In your travel documents you will receive a detailed itinerary
with 2 copies of complete day by day hotel list. This list will have an address
and a telephone number for each hotel you will be staying
on each tour day.
When will I receive my travel documents?
Travel documents, including tour itinerary, hotel lists, and
other information are sent two weeks prior to the tour departure
by registered mail.
How big can my suitcase be?
Handling of one suitcase is included in the tour price. Due
to limited coach capacity, we strongly recommend that this
single bag should have dimensions not exceeding 30"x18"x10"
and weight not exceeding 60 lbs. (27 kg). Pacific Gold Tours
will supply each traveler with a complimentary carry-on bag;
however, should you prefer to take along a different carry-on,
it should not exceed the dimensions of 17”x14”x8”.
Please note that air carriers, cruise lines and other forms
of transportation may have other restrictions or requirements
including weight, and we recommend that you check with the
suppliers directly for more information.
Are prices based on double occupancy?
Prices are per person, based on two persons sharing a room.
Single room supplements and triple and quad room reductions are listed
where available.
What is the difference between a twin bed and a double
room?
A double room is a room designed to accommodate two people,
though not necessarily with two separate beds. A twin bed
room has two separate beds of any size; this is what we usually
reserve for our travelers.
What size is a triple room?
A triple room is the same size as a room with a twin bed.
It will have beds to accommodate three people; however, we
cannot guarantee that there will be three separate beds. If
there are only two beds, a day bed may be requested but also
cannot be guaranteed.
Is Smoking Allowed?
Pacific Gold Tours motorcoaches are smoke-free. We include,
however, breaks during the tour to allow smoking passengers
the opportunity to do so. Please be mindful of other passengers.
Can I purchase optional excursions in advance?
Your tour director will go through the optional excursions
available for purchase during your tour. You may choose and
purchase any optional excursions for your tour at that point.
