Day 1 Arrive to Saskatoon, SK D  
All passengers arrive to Saskatoon by plane, VIA Rail, or by Greyhound and check-in independently to our first class downtown hotel. Join your Tour Director this evening for a Welcome Get Acquainted Dinner and Tour Briefing at the hotel.
Day 2 Saskatoon to Prince Albert, SK B
After breakfast at 9 AM we visit the nearby Wanuskewin (a cree word for living in harmony) Heritage Park. Later on our journey continues to Batoche National Historic Park where we explore the headquarters of Lois Riel during the Northwest Rebellion of 1885. It relates the history of the Metis culture and society. We see the cemetery, the Rectory, Caron House, the Church of St. Antoine De Padoue, and the visitor reception centre. At 4:30 PM we leave Batoche and head to Prince Albert, a town located in the center of a thriving forestry industry. We spend the night here.

Day 3 Prince Albert, SK to Flon, MB B
We’ll visit the Diefenbaker House and Museum, where displays commemorate the political career of former Prime Minister John Diefenbaker. After a mid-morning break, we travel north to Flin Flon, stopping at the 24 foot Josiah Flintabbatey Flonatin Statue, from which the town got its name. We spend the night in this city which is built on solid rock. 
Day 4 Flin Flon, MB to Thompson, MB & VIA Rail to Churchill B
Enjoy breakfast, and then get your camera ready, as we are about to see an array of marvelous scenery along this beautiful route, which includes Baker Narrows, Snow Lake and Pisew Falls. This picturesque backdrop will prepare us for a relaxing rest as we approach Thompson to experience a unique train journey. This evening, we board VIA Rail for an overnight trip to Churchill. Accommodations on VIA Rail have been reserved consisting of Roomettes and bedrooms.
Day 5 Welcome to Churchill 3 Full Days
Welcome to Churchill! We get our first glimpse of the beautiful Hudson Bay as our local representative and coach meets us at the train station to begin a comprehensive tour of the entire area. Highlights include the Churchill Northern Studies Center, Miss Piggy (a downed Lamb Airplane), the Ithaca (a grounded nickel oar carrier), the Eskimo Museum and all of the wildlife and points of interest in between. We arrive at the hotel and the rest of the day is at leisure. Be sure to look out your window before you go to bed to see if the Northern Lights are shining. (Tundra Inn or similar)
Day 6 Churchill & More Sightseeing B, D
After an included breakfast we transfer to the dock for our whale-watching trip. This tour not only includes getting up close and personal with some Beluga Whales, but also a stop at Prince of Wales Fort National Historic Site. Built in the 1700’s with locally quarried stone, this massive fort took over forty years to construct and was surrendered without a shot being fired. After the whale watching, we visit the Parks Canada Interpretive Centre, where we watch videos in the theatre and visit a reconstruction of a Polar Bear den. Tonight we are treated to an Arctic Char Dinner courtesy of Pacific Gold Tours. After dinner we spend some time with Myrtle deMeulles. Myrtle is a Metis woman who tells stories of her life growing up on a trap line with her family in Cumberland House, Saskatchewan. Myrtle is a delight and will tell us all about her own very interesting art form. Don’t forget to check for the Aurora Borealis because you never know when they will appear!

Day 7 Churchill & VIA Rail to Thompson B, L
After an included breakfast, we are picked up and transferred to Tundra Buggy Tours where we are treated to a half day out on the land in a Tundra Buggy. These massive vehicles have 8-wheel drive and will go anywhere. Here is a chance to see wildlife up close and personal, there may be caribou, many species of birds, and it just may happen that a polar bear wanders by. We return to our hotel this afternoon and enjoy some leisure time to rest, relax or perhaps do some last minute souvenir shopping. After dinner we are transferred to the VIA Rail station for our return trip to Thompson.
Day 8 Thompson, MB
Our overnight VIA Rail journey from Churchill should bring us to Thompson by 10:00 in the morning, (Subject to VIA Rail schedule). A guided tour of Thompson will give us some insight of the town as we see the townsites, museums & INCO facilities. We spend the night in Thompson. (Country Inn or similar)
Day 9 The Pas, MB B
After an included breakfast, our leisurely drive takes us to The Pas where we enjoy a locally guided tour including the Roman Catholic and unique Christ Churches. We will see hand-hewn pews and panels on the walls with the Lord’s Prayer in the Cree languages. We overnight here in The Pas where trappers and fur traders used to meet for many years. (Wescana Inn or similar)
Day 10 The Pas to Hudson Bay, SK to Regina, SK B, D
After an included breakfast, we travel to the Moose Capital of the world, Hudson Bay. We tour Heritage Park and Pioneer Village (subject to availability) Our further journey brings us to Melfort this afternoon. We continue on our southern drive on Highway 6 to Regina for the final night of the tour. This evening join your Tour Director and fellow passengers for a Pacific Gold Traditional Farewell Dinner. (Regina Inn or similar).
Day 11 City Tour of Regina & Return Home after 2 pm
This morning we enjoy a locally guided deluxe city tour of the Queen City of Regina. It includes historical downtown, beautiful Wascana Park, the Center of the Arts, Legislative Buildings, a complete visit of the RCMP Museum, and more. Afterwards we take with us our fond memories of our Churchill Adventure as we make connections for our return trip home.
