This morning we welcome our fellow passengers in Grand Forks, BC. Our drive today
is especially scenic as we follow the winding highway east towards Cranbrook.
We pass through Kimberly, the beautiful Bavarian town. Our drive continues as it
takes us through Banff to Calgary to Calgary, our home for the night.

We greet Alberta passengers onboard our
luxury coach this morning! Watch the scenery
unfold as we make our way into Saskatchewan,
named “Land of the Living Skies”. We continue
on the Trans Canada Highway passing through
Brooks, Medicine Hat and then to Swift Current
for the night.

Our leisurely drive on the Trans Canada Highway brings us to Queen City of Regina.
Our further southeast drive through Weyburn and Estevan brings us to the U.S. Border
at North Portal. Time permitting, we make a brief stop at the Canadian duty free shop.
We continue our drive to Minot, North Dakota, the “Magic City” for an overnight stay.

Be sure to have your cameras ready for a picture stop at the
Geographical Centre of North America at Rugby, North Dakota.
After lunch at Grand Forks we cross the Red River into Minnesota.
Our route traverses a region of rolling farmland and woods with
numerous lakes and streams. Enjoy a short trip to the visitor
centre for pictures of Paul Bunyan and his blue ox Babe before
checking into our hotel.

This morning our journey takes us through the lake area, before
stopping at Ashland, Wisconsin. From there it’s a short journey to Michigan and
the Upper Peninsula. We make our way to Escanaba, situated on the shores of Lake
Michigan, for an overnight stay.

Enjoy a scenic drive along the shores of
Lake Michigan this morning. We then
turn southward through densely wooded
terrain to the Bavarian townsite of Frankenmuth.
Here we are treated to a locally
guided city tour of Frankenmuth for an
hour. Enjoy sightseeing and shopping
in the Bavarian Village, including a visit
to Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland this
evening.

Today we travel across the state of
Michigan to Port Huron for a short stop
at the duty free store before clearing
Canadian Customs in Sarnia, ON. We
continue on to London, ON for lunch at a
local shopping mall. Our further leisurely
drive brings us to our hotel early to relax
and freshen up before the treat of the day.
This evening at 700PM, join your Tour Director, Driver and fellow passengers
for a “Welcome Get Acquainted Dinner” at the hotel.

This morning we are treated to a locally guided
city tour of Toronto, including such highlights as
the City Hall, the banking district, the University
of Toronto and Casa Loma. After lunch we
visit the CN Tower, the World’s Tallest Building
(553M), and go to the top for an astounding
view of Toronto’s harbour and skyline. This
afternoon we travel to Niagara Falls, our home
for the night.

Prepare for picture stops along the gorgeous Niagara Parkway at “Brock Monument”,
the “Floral Clock” and “Whirlpool Rapids” this morning. By midmorning we
enjoy a thrilling excursion aboard the “Maid of the Mist” for an incredible sight of
the enormous falls. We proceed along the Queen Elizabeth Highway to Niagaraon-
the-Lake, a charming village, for a scattered lunch and browsing. This afternoon,
we cross the Rainbow Bridge to the state of New York, USA. Our further drive
brings us to Albany, NY for the night. Albany is New York’s historic capital, which
has been attracting visitors for hundreds of years.

Have your eyes and camera ready for the most
breathtaking scenery as we make our way through New
England states. We drive through the beautiful state
of Vermont and up to the spectacular White Mountain
range to the beautiful town of Gorham, NH in the
shadow of Mount Washington, the highest mountain
in the north-eastern United States. Enjoy the beautiful
vistas at every turn as this uncrowded and unspoiled
area where you can relax for the night and enjoy a
peaceful and friendly atmosphere. The Gorham area
has been a haven for visitors since the 1850’s.

After a restful night in Gorham, our scenic journey brings us to Calais, Maine,
situated on the Canadian border and the beautiful
St. Croix River. Calais has historically been a
city of commerce and is recognized as the primary
shopping centre of eastern Maine. In the fall the
colours are second to none with the rolling mountains
ablaze with red, orange, yellow and shades
of green. We cross the border back to Canada and
continue our drive to Saint John, NB, Canada’s Loyalist
City where we enjoy a brief city tour including the Reversing Falls and Saint
John Harbour before checking into our hotel.

Early rise and shine as we catch a scenic ferry
across the Bay of Fundy to Digby, NS. This afternoon
we visit Port Royal National Historic Park,
which features the restoration of the original Port
Royal, the oldest European settlement in Canada.
Costumed interpreters relate the first treacherous
winters spent here in the “new land.” We travel into
the beautiful fruit-growing region of the Maritimes – The Annapolis Valley. Our further
drive brings us to Grand Pre National Park for a visit. Finally, we arrive to
Halifax , our home for the next two nights.

We are treated to a locally guided deluxe tour of the naval city of Halifax. The tour
highlights the downtown area including the financial district, City Hall, Pier 21,
the story of the Halifax Explosion, the
waterfront, Public Gardens, Province
House, the universities, residential
areas, Halifax’s involvement in the
recovery operation of the Titanic and a
guided tour at Citadel Hill. We enjoy a
scattered lunch at the Halifax Historic
Properties. After lunch, our drive brings
us to the rustic charm of the famous fishing village of Peggy’s Cove. Peggy’s Cove
is world famous for its picturesque lighthouse on the rocky shores of the Atlantic.
Enjoy some free time browsing and exploring Peggy’s Cove this late afternoon.
We return to our full service hotel.

Historic Site where Mr. Bell conceived and tested some
of his spectacular inventions! Afterwards, we get started

Cabot Trail, named after

the meandering glens, rugged coastlines, white
gypsum bluffs and the always-pounding surf. We
make photo stops enroute to make this a very
special day, indeed. Enjoy the most relaxing and scenic adventure of the tour. The
evening is free to enjoy the hotel facilities or explore Sydney on your own.

This morning we visit the Fortress of Louisbourg to relive history as we take a tour
of the famous 18th century Fortress! For your knowledge and enjoyment, we have
hired a local step-on-guide for detailed history of the monument. It is beautifully
restored with inhabitants dressed in period costume,
and it stands today as it was 200 years
ago! Afterwards, we bid farewell to the sights
and sounds of
Cape Breton.
We are amazed
by the beauty and scenery of the majestic Bras d’Or Lakes during
our drive. Our further journey brings us to Caribou,
NS. We board the relaxing ferry late afternoon and
arrive to Wood Islands, PEI. Our further drive brings
us to Summerside/Charlottetown, PEI for a twonight
stay.

We say goodbye to Prince Edward Island this morning.
We stop at Gateway Village and the magnificent
Confederation Bridge for pictures. Later we arrive in
Moncton, where we experience the sensation and
mystery of “Magnetic Hill”. We then continue our drive
to Fredericton where we enjoy a brief tour of the city
with stops at Christ Church Cathedral and City Hall.

Our first stop this morning is the world’s longest
covered Hartland Bridge. We continue our drive to
Edmundston, NB. Later, we visit St. Jean-Port-Joli

arrive in Old Quebec City for a cultural experience.

the passing hills. Our further drive brings us to the “City of
Locks”, Sault Ste. Marie, our home for the night.

Enjoy our spectacular journey through Northern Ontario
to Wawa, famed as a stopover for Canadian Geese during
their migrations. We proceed along the Lake Superior

arrive at the Terminal City of Thunder Bay, our destination for the night.

Today we drive west along the Trans Canada Highway.
Sit back and relax as we see the “cathedrals of the prairies”
(a nickname for Grain Elevators) go by. We stop in
Moosomin, and then continue on to Regina. Time permitting,
we visit the R.C.M.P. Museum before checking in
to our hotel. Try your hand with “Lady Luck” this evening
and enjoy a full service casino at the old VIA Rail Station (optional).

On the road again, as we continue homeward bound
to Calgary to say farewell to Alberta passengers. British

We continue our journey through the North
Okanagan Valley to Kelowna, BC. We bid a fond
farewell to the Okanagan passengers upon
arrival in Vernon, the West Coast passengers’
spend the night in Kelowna.
