Day 1 Home Cities to Toronto, ON     D
Fly in from home cities to the Toronto International Airport. A complimentary airport return transfer is provided by Pacific Gold Tours. Enjoy a full service hotel, as the afternoon is free to do as you wish. Meet your tour director in the hotel lobby this evening. Join your tour director and fellow passengers for a Pacific Gold Welcome Get Acquainted Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 CN Tower & Niagara Falls, ON B
Welcome aboard our motorcoach this morning! Sit back, relax and enjoy the luxury of our modern motorcoach. Of course, it is airconditioned and washroom equipped for your comfort and enjoyment. This morning we are treated to a locally guided city tour of Toronto, including such highlights as the City Hall, the banking district, the University of Toronto and Casa Loma. After lunch we visit the CN Tower, the World's Tallest Building (553M), and go to the top for an astounding view of Toronto's harbour and skyline. This afternoon we travel to Niagara Falls, our home for the night. Relax and enjoy free time in Niagara Falls.

Day 3 Niagara Falls to Kingston, ON B
We enjoy a very relaxing, light day. Prepare for picture stops along the gorgeous Niagara Parkway at "Brock Monument", the "Floral Clock" and "Whirlpool Rapids" this morning. By midmorning we enjoy a thrilling excursion aboard the "Maid of the Mist" for an incredible sight of the enormous falls. We proceed along the Queen Elizabeth Highway to Niagaraon- the-Lake, a charming village, for a scattered lunch and browsing. Later on, our leisurely drive along the rolling countryside takes us to the city of Kingston, ON, for the night.

Day 4 Kingston, ON to Ottawa, ON B
Our leisurely morning drive along the St. Lawrence River we travel towards the capital city of our great nation - Ottawa. Ottawa has been described as one of the most beautiful capitals in the world. We arrive at Rideau Street Mall for some browsing and a scattered lunch. This afternoon we visit the worldrenowned Canadian Museum of Civilization and Royal Canadian Mint. We check into our full service, first-class downtown hotel for the night.

Day 5 Ottawa, ON to Montreal, PQ B
Toronto This morning, we are met by a local guide for a deluxe tour of Ottawa, including a guided tour of the Parliament Buildings (subject to change), the Prime Minister's residence, Rideau Hall and more! After a leisurely lunch, we board our luxury coach and travel to the "cosmopolitan" city of Montreal. We arrive to Old Montreal for a visit to the Notre-Dame Basilica this afternoon. We spend some time in Old Montreal for browsing and souvenir shopping before checking into our hotel for the night.

Day 6 Montreal, PQ to Quebec City, PQ B
This morning a guided tour of Montreal helps you to appreciate the history and architecture of this great city. This historical tour of Montreal includes the Olympic Park and a view of the city from Mount Royal. After the tour, we take time to explore St. Joseph's Oratory, one of the world's largest basilicas. Our further travel brings us to Old Quebec City for a cultural experience and perhaps a delicious French cuisine evening meal.

Day 7 Quebec City, PQ to Riviere-du-Loup, PQ B
We begin a day filled with cultural excitement. The narrow streets and quaint buildings of the "Old Town", the only walled city on the continent, other than Mexico, exude a romantic atmosphere. We enjoy a locally guided tour of Quebec City including the World Famous Chateau Frontenac, the Latin Quarter, Plains of Abraham, and much more! Later on, a short drive brings us to St. Jean Port Joli, where artists and artisans produce distinctive wood sculptures, hand weaving, hooked rugs and other crafts. The French heritage is evident everywhere. A further drive takes us to Riviere du Loup, Quebec, for an overnight stay.

Day 8 Riviere du Loup, PQ to Saint John, NB B
Today our stops include the "world's longest covered bridge" (1,282 foot) at Hartland, New Brunswick. It was originally constructed by the Hartland Bridge Company and officially opened on July 4, 1901. Our further drive brings us to the capital city of New Brunswick, Fredericton, for a brief tour of the city. Later, there's a world of wonder waiting for us in Saint John, "The Fundy City". We enjoy a brief tour of Saint John, where we learn about the Bay of Fundy, as its great tides roll in from the Atlantic Ocean. We also learn about the local mystery of the reversing waterfall before checking into the hotel for the night.

Day 9 Saint John, NB to Digby Ferry & Halifax, NS 2 Nts, B
Bay of FundyEarly rise and shine as we catch a scenic ferry across the Bay of Fundy to Digby, NS. This afternoon we visit Port Royal National Historic Park, which features the restoration of the original Port Royal, the oldest European settlement in Canada. Costumed interpreters relate the first treacherous winters spent here in the "new land." We travel into the beautiful fruit-growing region of the Maritimes - The Annapolis Valley. With its delightful villages and orchards, Annapolis Valley is Atlantic Canada's richest agricultural region. The scenic town of Annapolis Royal has over 150 heritage buildings including the oldest wooden house in Canada, Fort Anne NHS. Our further drive brings us to Grand Pre National Park for a visit. The graceful stone church stands as a memorial to the Acadians, as during the Deportation from 1755 and 1763, the Acadians were forcefully exiled from their homes and farms. Finally, we arrive to Halifax, our home for the next two nights.

Day 10 Halifax, NS B
We are treated to a locally guided deluxe tour of the naval city of Halifax. The tour highlights the downtown area including the financial district, City Hall, Pier 21, the story of the Halifax Explosion, the waterfront, Public Gardens, Province House, the universities, residential areas, Halifax's involvement in the recovery operation of the Titanic and a guided tour at Citadel Hill. We enjoy a scattered lunch at the Halifax Historic Properties. After lunch, our leisurely drive brings us to the rustic charm of the famous fishing village of Peggy's Cove. Peggy's Cove is world famous for its picturesque lighthouse on the rocky shores of the Atlantic. Enjoy some free time for browsing and exploring Peggy's Cove this late afternoon. We return to our full service hotel.

Day 11 Halifax, NS to Charlottetown, PEI 2 Nts, B
We say goodbye to the naval city of Halifax. Today, we visit the Anne Murray Museum in Springhill. Our further drive brings us to the incredible Hopewell Cape where we have the opportunity to walk on the ocean floor at low tide (Subject to tide condition)! Later on we stop at the Confederation Bridge for picture taking and arrive to PEI. We continue our drive into Summerside/ Charlottetown for the next two nights.

Day 12 Summerside & Charlottetown, PEI B, D
Prepare for adventure, sightseeing and fun. We are treated to a locally guided, tour of Prince Edward Island this morning. Our tour includes a Charlottetown City Tour, Anne of Green Gables, Woodleigh Replicas and Province House. The treat of the day comes as we enjoy a traditional lobster dinner in New Glasgow, PEI.

Day13 Charlottetown, PEI to Sydney, NS 3 Nts, B
Enjoy a beautiful and scenic ferry ride this morning from Woods Island, PEI to Caribou, NS. Our leisurely drive east across the Strait of Canso brings us into Cape Breton, the island of the hearty and independent Scots, the original European settlers of this historic island, that also is rich in French heritage. Enjoy the most dramatic and scenic views of the cliffs and moors as we travel to Baddeck for a visit to the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site. Here is where Mr. Bell conceived and tested some of his spectacular inventions! We spend the night in Baddeck, NS.

Day 14 Scenic Cabot Trail B
We get started for our full day scenic adventure on Cabot Trail, named after the famous explorer who first sighted the island in 1497. Watch as we pass the meandering glens, rugged coastlines, white gypsum bluffs and the always-pounding surf. We make some photo stops enroute to make this a very special day, indeed. Enjoy the most relaxing and scenic adventure of the tour. We retire for the night back in Sydney.

Day 15 Sydney, NS B
This morning we visit the historical Fortress of Louisbourg and watch history unfold during our sightseeing tour of the famous 18th century Fortress. It is beautifully restored with inhabitants dressed in period costume, and it stands today as it was 200 years ago! Ample time of 4 hours is allowed to enjoy this historical Monument thoroughly. Later on this afternoon we return back to our Sydney hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 16 Sydney, NS to Corner Brook, NF B
This morning, we start our adventure as we board the Marine Atlantic Ferry at North Sydney, NS to Port Aux Basques, NF (subject to Ferry schedule). Sit back, relax and watch for marine life as we sail across the Cabot Strait. Our overnight stop is in the beautiful city of Corner Brook on Humber Fjord.

Day 17 Corner Brook, NF to Grand Falls, NF B
vikingToday we make a stop at the Railway Society of Newfoundland Historical Train Site and Captain Cook's Monument for a picture opportunity. We get off the beaten path and take a trip into Gros Morne National Park, designated a world Heritage site, with breathtaking scenery. We stop at Rocky Harbour and the park's Visitor Centre. We travel eastward on the Trans Canada Highway. We visit the Salmonid Interpretation Centre (subject to availability). During the "Road to the Isles" drive, the area's amusingly named settlements such as Virgin Arm, Crow Head and Hatchet Harbour indicate the unique local nature. At historic Twillingate, we visit the Museum and the Long Point Lighthouse. We arrive in Grand Falls, NF for an overnight stay.

Day 18 Grand Falls, NF to Clarenville, NF B
We leave Grand Falls this morning. Our first stop of the day is at Peacekeepers Park & Silent Witness. Next we visit the beautiful Terra Nova National Park and its Marine Interpretive Centre. A short drive brings us to Clarenville for our overnight stay. Tonight we enjoy a "screech-in" party, the traditional Newfoundland welcome at the hotel.

Day 19 Clarenville, NF to St. John's, NF 2 Nts, B
We travel to the Avalon Peninsula. Sit back and relax as we drive through Heart's Delight and Heart's Desire to the small town of Heart's Content. We visit the old cable relay station, where the first transatlantic cable was landed in 1866. We make a short stop in Harbour Grace, an old pirate town, where Amelia Earhart took off in 1932 for her pioneering solo flight across the Atlantic Ocean. We continue our scenic drive through Conception Bay to St. John's, NF. A city unlike any other, the "City of Legends" is cradled in a harbour carved from granite and is surrounded by hills running down to the ocean. Quaint side streets of a thousand colours and friendly faces wait to greet you. We stay in St. John for the next two nights.

Day 20 St. John's, NF D, B
We enjoy a locally guided city tour of St. John's this morning. The escorted tour covers Cabot Tower, Signal Hill, the Historic Church, Confederation Building, City Hall and much more. This afternoon we drive around Cape Spear, the most easterly point in North America, beautiful Petty Harbour and the historic waterfront. Late afternoon is free to explore the city and its waterfront on your own. Make use of the free time for last minute souvenir shopping for your loved ones. This evening, join your tour director and fellow passengers for a traditional Maritimes dinner courtesy of Pacific Gold Tours.

Day 21 Return Home B
All good things must come to an end! We take with us our memories of a wonderful 'Atlantic Canada' experience as we travel to the airport for our return flight home. Complimentary airport taxi transfer is included by Pacific Gold Tours.
